Going up Taipei 101 was a nice experience especially since we made it around sunrise. The queue is huge though, so be prepared to wait for a bit before getting into the elevator. There are 2 observatories, one inside and one outside. On the inside, you'll also find out more about the wind breaker that is balancing the tower. It was interesting to learn about that. There are also plenty of souvenir shops up there and coffee shops.
If you are in Taipei, this is a must stop. What an awesome feat of architecture! Our family really enjoyed the elevator ride up and the room with the counter weight! We learned so much about buildings and what went into building a structure this tall. There is a shopping mall as well if you are into things like this.
上個月去有å°ç£èº«ä»½è³¼ç¥¨è²·ä¸€é€ä¸€ã€‚å•æœå‹™å“¡çœ‹çœ‹ï¼If you're there around sunset I recommend taking the stairs from the observation level, up one more to the outdoor area. Afterwards you can always come back down indoors and take your time looking around the four faces.Even as a local, going up 101 is always fun to bring friends and a great experience.
The mall is a mall, nothing too special. The basement food court is pretty neat, albeit on the pricier side, being a huge tourist attraction itself. The day we went up the tower, the outdoor observation deck was closed for a private event and it was foggy outside as well, but the views were still decent. Honestly, being able to see the tuned mass damper was the coolest part of the entire experience
We went to the mall right after the observatory because we were real hungry. As expected, there are a lot of tourists. The line for Din Tai Fung was unbelievable but the good thing is there are a lot of other restaurants inside. They have many tables as well so you can get a seat pretty easily.
A Stunning Building! It’s about 20 Celsius and drizzle out. The top of the tower is surrounded by clouds & mist. This a must see while in Taiwan and so here I am.What can be viewed from above highlights how small we are as humans but we can build a tower that attempts to touch heaven!
Beautiful building. There is a mallfor everyone and Also lots ofgreat restaurants in the food courtfor locals and tourists. View from the observation deck is excellent. On one side there is glass area on which you can walk its very small though. The lift to top is Very fast. It takes you all the way up in seconds. There are snack items available on top. You can spend max 1 hour on top. Night view is excellent.
One of the "must be seen in" places in Taipei, Taiwan. Multipurpose business centre with welcoming personnel. Highly recommend!
The tower of the shape of a bamboo has been an icon of Taiwan for a long time already. It has the fastest elevator in the world which a great experience. The best view on Taipei is in my opinion from the Xiangshan mountain, because the skyline is defined by this tower.
Have a very beautiful scenery. Do check the weather before going, cloudy and rain will block all the views. We are lucky to catch the views before the rain and clouds came.
B1 B2 a lot of crowdy visitors so nice though it's raining outside. Other floors are teemed with world known brand names. Can see the delicate and exquisite products, just can't afford to buy it. Too bad. The shopping environment is excellent!
Amazing to climb at 60km/h in a elevator. Also the night view is amazing. there are good souvenir shop, coffee shop and restaurants in the tower. Easy access to MRT. Also in the basement you have a fancy shopping mall with good restaurants and global brands shops.
Tickets is reasonable for Floor 89-92 Floor. At 92 Floor you can see the part of city.I visited the place after 9PM.So, only part of 92F was open for visitors. Also, you can see the damper mass which is the only one open for visitor as compared to other Tallest tower. Also, at 90F you can see the city all round but enclosed by glass.Enjoy the and don't forget to visit 92F which is not know to all visitors
Big shooping mall complex connected to Taipei 101 building. Buy the souvenir a lot at here for tourist. Nice has been here.
Of course it's awesome to see the world from above, but that can be said about all the super tall buildings. However, being able to see the mass damper inside was awesome. I liked that the visit want time rushed. Inside it at my own pace. I think signage could be better as I almost miss the 91 floor
The Grand Hotel is right over there. See it? It's more historically significant and far more detailed. Now, go!Seriously, you should go see the Grand Hotel. Of course, you had to see 101! You're done with this now. The Grand schedules tours daily. Now, go!
Try to go at night where the view is great. But the queue is a little long though. But it's well worth it. You can also buy gifts but other than that, nothing much else to do there.
One of the tallest building in the world, we can reach the top of the building by elevator just within few seconds, we can see the mass damper, the giant ball that protect the building from the impact of earthquake, great experience for kids
High end mall for shopping. Plenty of branded outlets for apparel n accessories. Nice layout n easily accessible via train or taxi. Lots of food available at a humongous food court that sells local delights n other foods- fast food also available. Quite huge so expect to spend several hours here. One can also go after shopping to the observatory for a great view of Taipei 👠don’t forget to claim your tax refunds for purchases!!
This is huge but it is also very crowded. Doesn't really enjoy being there. Only for fun and for the famous name . Doesn't registered anything spectacular in my mind after visiting. Can visit without if times constraints. My Taiwanese friends say it is a must. Its true but wouldn't feel sorry and sad if I missed it.
Incredible building at the heart of Taipei. Wherever you go, take a look and you’ll see Taipei 101 clearly visibility. Amazing building that blends so naturally into the entire city. Great views and restaurants too. Must go
Awesome view nearby 101 specially during the night time. The lighting around 101 area adds amazing beauty to its view. So far, did not visited to 101 floor which certainly will be providing a great view of the city from the observatory area.
Shopping and dining mecca of Taipei. Some places may be less expensive but few have the class and style of the place. This place has never lost its appeal.
a very beautiful tower to see in Taipei. I love its night view better than the day time one
Beautiful mall to walk around and snap pictures of Taipei 101 even if you're not planning to buy anything.
Amazing shopping mall, I don’t know anything about prices, especially for the highest floor, but shopping mall very nice to walk and look around
The view at the top of Taipei 101 is breathtaking! If you want to shop for high end stuffs Taipei 101 mall is the best place to go to.
As luxury malls go, Taipei 101 fully fit my expectations. I go back and forth on whether this was worth the price we paid to visit, and I think it was. The elevator ride up and down was lightning fast. The views were just ok. But it was cool seeing how the tower withstands earthquakes. I suggest biting the bullet and going up. They are fairly efficient at getting people up and down without terribly long wait, and there is English speaking staff. We also had tea at TWG, which was fantastic. I probably wouldn't take the elevator ride again for the attraction portion but the mall was worth the visit.
Top of the range mall linked to the major tourist attraction. Good food court but if you want to try one of the upper floor restaurants you do need to book.
Worth a visit! A bit touristy but there's a solid selection of food and bubble tea in the lower level. Convenient to get to, and worth spending a few hours here
I loved Taipei 101, I loved the mall the building, the mall is comparable to Rodeo drive and Tyson’s corner Galleria. The food court was delightful and it had all the food court type of food.
The highest building in Taiwan, and the mall here is good. You can find most of famous brand here
Been there years ago for food visiting as well as shopping. However mostly expensive stuff and honestly nothing much to shop as just a other typical shopping mall. The only things worth while visiting was the observation deck but with entrance fee. Mall was crowded with many tourist. We stay nearby hotel during new year end celebration to see the fireworks. This was really spectaculars and a must to watch once in a life time.
Very interesting trade center for exhibition and conference. A well planned and well located edifice with good road network and great settings. A technology based and well planned lighting system. Meeting rooms are with modern furniture with appropriate ventilation. A great place to be for business connections.
In love with this place. Not only because it's the tallest building in Taiwan but the architecture, decorations, landscapes, shop choices, foods and drinks made this the perfect go-to place. Can't wait to visit it again in the near future â¤
Very high class shopping and a beautiful building. Work class dumplings at Din Tai Fung.
Amazing view from above... doesn't take long to get up in an orderly manner. There are information about how the building was constructed. Friendly for elderly to visit as well
Standard adult ticket is 600, priority pass is 1200. Highly recommend the priority pass if you don't want to queue up at the lift both up and down the tower. Lift is very fast at 600 metres per minute. On the way down, they make you walk through many shops before you get to the lift so be prepared for that.
I highly suggest seeing the Taipei 101 during the day or night it will take your breath away. We found the tickets to go up a little pricey in addition to the cost of food to eat at any of the restaurants was pricey as well. But viewing this from the day and night really is spectacular. Unfortunately we were unable to see the fireworks display of the Taipei 101.
I was here for trip business and I think it was good opportunity to visit this place as well. We can get here by Metro Train which located nearby. The view on downside is also nice. There are so many attractions and restaurants nearby which we can spent a day in here.
We arrived late, almost at closing time, but the place was still bustling with tourists and local visitors. The ride up to the top was fun and everything was well organized and clearly understood. We climbed the stairs to get to the highest possible spot allowed and that made picture taking even better. We browsed the gift shop and picked up something simple just because it was such a memorable tourist attraction. There were many restaurants on the lower floors and we enjoyed a fine meal. The night sky was amazing to look at but we thought it would be interesting to come back during the day for a different perspective.
A nice tall building. Like other tall buildings. Fast elevators. High end shopping. Food court.
very interesting building. there is so much to explore when you go up there. i recommend visiting this building.
Whole view of Taipei city from above. This building has 101 floors and we will go to the 89th floor to view the city. Ticket price is 600 for each person. This is often crowded and take you about 10 to 20 minutes to queue up for the lift, so be prepared for this. Enjoy ^^
I hear that a lot of people don't like the 101 area because it is too fancy and not like the original Taiwan feeling. I get it but I in my opinion you can see it as a different area that is not necessarily connected to the original Taiwan. personally, I really like this new architecture that was inspired by Asian style 'pagoda'.
Great place to visit. Be warned it is always always busy..Shops, restaurants and coffee shops, all the touristy places under 1 roof.Plus the Observation floor, great on a sunny day..
Taipei 101 is very accessible by the metro. The main mall part of Taipei 101 is full of luxury stores as well as souvenir stores (pineapple cakes, etc.). You can find Din Tai Fung there but it has a long queue so take that into consideration if you want to eat there. For the observatory part, I suggest to book your ticket online to avoid any hassle and so that you can quickly enter. Queues for the elevator varies so it just depends on your luck if it's long or not. Once you're already in the observatory, the view of the city is amazing. Take as many pictures as you want. Towards the exit, there are other displays there - different gem stones, etc. as well as bars and cafes if you're feeling hungry.
